The Signal Box Community Centre
About
The Signal Box Centre was built in 2015 as a ‘Section 106’ community space for the new developments being built in South Newtown, particularly Kaleidoscope, Accordia and the flats around Cambridge Station.
It is a charitable organisation to benefit residents of the Newtown district in Cambridge City.
The Signal Box works with local residents, local authorities, voluntary and other organisations to enhance life in our community.
We are mainly volunteer run, but are delighted to now have a paid worker for 10 hours a week.
Our small trustee board is made up of local residents with a balance of socially housed and private residents.
